The PTA Autumn Disco will take place on Wednesday 22nd October 2025. You can now purchase tickets via My Child At School - tickets are £3 per child (please note that tickets are limited).
This event will run in two sessions for different year groups as follows -
Reception & Year 1-3 Disco at 3.30pm - 4.30pm:
Children will get changed in class for this disco and then be taken to the hall. Please collect your child at the end of the disco from the external hall doors at 4.30pm prompt.
Year 4-6 Disco at 5pm - 6pm:
Children will finish their school day at 3.15pm as usual and should return to school for the start of the disco at 5pm. Children should enter the disco via the external hall doors. Please collect your child at 6pm prompt from the external hall doors. Children will not be allowed to walk home alone and must be collected.

Peabody in partnership with Access Sport are excited to be running a FREE SEND inclusive holiday activity programme in Thamesmead this October Half Term.

Please be reminded that the Greenwich Immunisation Team will be visiting Horn Park on Friday 10th October 2025 to administer the flu vaccination to those children whom they have consent for only.

Please find attached a letter and leaflets regarding the National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP) for children in Reception and Year 6 which is scheduled to take place in school on Wednesday 15th October.
As detailed in the attached letter if you are happy for your child to be measured, you do not need to do anything. If you do not want your child’s height and weight to be measured, or your child has a medical condition that affects their height or weight, please email the Young Greenwich School Nursing Team stating your child’s full name, date of birth and school, by Friday 3rd October 2025 at oxl-tr.NCMP@nhs.net
