PTA Annual General Meeting - Wednesday 11th November at 9.30am

The Parents and Teachers Association (PTA) of Horn Park Primary School will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday 11th November at 9.30am.

The Parents and Teachers Association (PTA) of Horn Park Primary School will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday 11th November at 9.30am.

The PTA is a team of dedicated volunteers who give their time to organise fundraising events, bring our school community together and secure meaningful grants for our children. Through these events and funds, we work to enrich the children’s educational experiences both inside and outside the classroom. Each year, committee roles are elected at the AGM to help manage the Association.

There are two types of committee member:

  • Trustees - who take on specific roles such as Co-Chairs, Treasurer or Secretary.
  • PTA Members - members who play a vital part in supporting and working alongside the Trustees.

All committee members have equal voting rights, with the exception of the Co-Chairs, who have an additional casting vote if required.

With school budgets under increasing pressure across the country, the PTA works to raise funds for workshops, equipment and additional resources that directly benefit our children. In 2025/2026, the PTA funded an author visit on World Book Day, BigFoot Workshops, camping and forest school equipment, playtime equipment and orchestra concert tickets.

If you are interested in joining the PTA but cannot attend the meeting, please email us at admin@ptahornpark.org.uk. An outline of the committee roles below, and if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

We hope to see you there.

Best regards,
Horn Park Primary School PTA
