  • Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice's Mini Marathon on Sunday 12th May

    Exciting News! Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice are holding their annual Mini Marathon on Sunday 12th May 2024.

    This 2.62-mile fun run isn’t just a morning filled with activity, excitement and family fun; it's also a wonderful opportunity for your child to make a difference to their local hospice.

    On the day, you can expect a whole bunch of fun including:

    · DJ beats to keep you grooving

    · Performances by the Rock Choir

    · Free sports activities

    · Free Face painting

    · Meet and greet with local royalty, the Pearly People

    · Lively cheer squads along the 2.62-mile route

    · Hundreds of children, many in fancy dress, running for a wonderful cause

    The £10 registration includes a JLL sponsored Goodie Bag and a Hospice Mini Marathon Medal. Your support and sponsorship will positively affect families in need of end-of-life care.

  • Novermber 2024 Year 6 School Journey

    We are excited to inform you that we have booked the Year 6 School Journey for next academic year. This will take place on 4th – 8th November 2024. The residential is taking place earlier in the academic year, at the amazing Kingswood Centre in Ashford, Kent, to take full advantage of the team building this trip provides. You can find out more about the centre via this link.

    To find out more information and have any questions answered, we will be holding a meeting in the music studio on Tuesday 5th March at 3.15pm.

    As the centre need to plan our timetable, all children wishing to attend this fantastic trip must be confirmed by paying a deposit by the 28th of March, unfortunately after this date, places may not be possible.

    The programme will give children an abundance of opportunities to develop and showcase confidence, resilience, and wider life skills. The facilities include an extensive ropes park, with a multitude of apparatus such as a triple zipwire, 3G swing and double fan descender. There is a blu-ray cinema and an impressive sports hall.

    If you are eligible for the school journey grant, please collect a grant form from the school office a return before the 1st July 2024.

    All payments to school must be made online via My Child at School. Please click on the ‘Year 6 Kingswood School Journey’ widget which can be found via the ‘online payments’ section on My Child at School for the payment schedule and to make payment.

    By paying the deposit you have committed to your child attending the trip and making the payment in FULL.
