  • Christmas Events at Horn Park

    We are delighted to share with you the upcoming festive events that will be held in school during December.  

    Parents/Carers are invited to come and watch.  

    For each of our Christmas performances, we warmly invite all families to join us for a mince pie and a hot drink. It’s a lovely opportunity to come together as a community, share some festive cheer, and celebrate the season before enjoying the children’s performances. Please join at the times above.

    On Thursday 18th December children can have a Christmas lunch in school. Please complete this form by 9am on Wednesday 26th November if you would like your child to have a school lunch on this day. Please note, if your child usually has a school meal on a Thursday you do not need to complete this form.  

    We look forward to welcoming our school community into school for these fantastic events.

  • Racial Literacy Parent Forum – Join the Conversation

    We are pleased to invite our families to the first meeting of our Racial Literacy Parent Forum, taking place on Friday 5th December at 9.05am.  

    Why?  

    This forum is part of our ongoing commitment at Horn Park to deepen racial literacy across our school community. Following work already underway with staff, we now want to open space for parent and carer voice - to listen, reflect, and build together.  

    What to expect  

    This is not a training session, but a chance to share what staff have been exploring, and to ask: Does this resonate with your experiences? What would you add? What should come next?  

    We aim to move beyond one-way communication and create a safe, welcoming space for open conversation. All parents and carers are invited, with opportunities for individual follow-up if preferred.  

    Tea, coffee and biscuits will also be provided.

  • Greenwich Supports: Get help with the cost of living crisis

    The Royal Borough of Greenwich have advised there will be no school holiday payment for free school meal families this October half term. The only payment confirmed for the 2025/26 academic year is a £50 per eligible child payment for the Christmas holiday.

  • PTA Autumn Disco

    The PTA  Autumn Disco will take place on Wednesday 22nd October 2025. You can now purchase tickets via My Child At School - tickets are £3 per child (please note that tickets are limited). 

    This event will run in two sessions for different year groups as follows - 

    Reception & Year 1-3 Disco at 3.30pm - 4.30pm:

    Children will get changed in class for this disco and then be taken to the hall. Please collect your child at the end of the disco from the external hall doors at 4.30pm prompt. 

    Year 4-6 Disco at 5pm - 6pm:

    Children will finish their school day at 3.15pm as usual and should return to school for the start of the disco at 5pm. Children should enter the disco via the external hall doors. Please collect your child at 6pm prompt from the external hall doors. Children will not be allowed to walk home alone and must be collected.
